Island Yachts Celebrates 25 Years In Business

Island Yachts turned 25 years old in October 2002 and in celebration Andrea & Skip King hosted an Anniversary dinner party at the Wild Orchid Cafe in Annapolis, MD during the Annapolis Boat Show. Robin Luke, former rock & roll musician and now marketing department chair of Southwest Missouri State University and the original founder of Island Yachts flew in from Missouri for the celebration. Also in attendance were Island Packet Yachts owner and designer Bob Johnson and sales and marketing director Bill Bolin, as well as many of Island Yachts charter boat owners and friends. It was a lovely evening, bringing back wonderful memories of the first days of Island Yachts, through the years to the present day as Island Yachts enjoys the benefits of their relationship with Island Packet Yachts and their proud position as one of the world's top ten Island Packet dealers!
